Group A: Angola, Mali, Algeria, Malawi.

Group B: Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso.

Group C: Egypt, Nigeria, Benin, Mozambique.

Group D: Cameroon, Tunisia, Zambia, Gabon.

All the groups are easy imo with two clear favorites in each one of them.

i hope we meet Algeria in the knockout stages and give these bitches a lesson

the competition starts Jan 10 and ends Jan 31

favorites: i have to say african sides who have qualified for the world cup + Egypt maybe but surely this time we wont win it.

The perfect group for Egypt would have been:
Egypt-Tunasia-Algeria-Morocco .. seeing as they all hate us.

Need Cameroon to get knocked out early so that Song can come back.

Never thought I'd say that two years ago... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

there is already a thread (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_mrgreen.gif) can someone merge them

and ya Egypt has no chance of retaining the crown for the third successive time, we're without Zaki, Mido and Abu Treika lol

It was. This year only the semi finals and final are on the BBC, all of the other matches are on Eurosport.

I heard that the ratings weren't too good for the 2008 tournament so the BBC didn't want to show it all this year.

Still, I'll be watching on Eurosport.

It's not the easiest tournament to watch at times, the latter games are good though.
