My vote definitely goes to Quaresma, simply because of how frighteningly good I think he could become at a bigger club...besides, Ronaldo has been tainted by the Mancness

All of them I guess, they're all class players, hopefully we'll be able to lure one to anfield.

Quaresma looks more impressive than Ronaldo, but I have yet to see how he does on the big stage.
Simao is useless, I don't get why people always talk about him. Everytime I watch Benfica in the CL, he does nothing.
Nani I have never seen.

I've never been a big fan of Simao's myself. He's great for Benfica, he's done ok in the CL actually, but for the NT he's awful. He loses possession too much.
Nani is excellent.

I've only seen Ronaldo so i can only go for him. i hear great stuff about Quaresma and he looked quality against Chelski but I havent seen him enough to justify it.

Your first clue is that unlike Ronaldo, Quaresma can actually play well against Chelsea

I'd love to see us go after Quaresma this summer. He's been quality every time I've seen him since he left Barca.

Nani is gonna be one hell of a player...hope he doesn't leave us this summer...another year would do him the world of good.
I'm pretty sure Portugal now get 2 teams automatically in the CL group phase with another in the qualifiers so Nani should get Champs League experience with Sporting first before moving on. Would be good to see him up against tough opposition while still at Sporting where the pressure won't be as big...don't make the same mistake Quaresma made!

My Vote goes to Christiano, he was absolutely outstanding this year in the EPL(toughest league in the world), overcame a lot of obstacles and was a major contributor for ManU success. My only negative about him is his defensive ability or lack there of..
Nani, no question he is going to be outstanding…

Ronaldo and Quaresma will get in any team.
Will be frightening to see how good they will be in Euro 2008!

Don't be so sure...I'm a Sporting fan and have seen enough of Nani to know that he is not as good as Ronaldo and Quaresma were when they were 17! he blew hot and cold a hell of a lot...I would say the jury is out on him...whereas with Ronaldo, I saw enough of him at Sporting to know he would make it anywhere, same with Quaresma, who though hasn't made it on the big stage just yet, has the ability to do so...
Pinto da Costa is playing a clever game...Portugal;s first choice wingers at Euro 2008 will be Quaresma and Ronaldo...even Scolari has been won over by Quaresma's more 'team ethic' attitude that he has...I digress, those 2 will start and WHEN Quaresma shows how outstanding he is, the £20+m offers will come in! Liverpool are absolute mugs for missing the boat!
Quaresma was portuguese player of the year in 2005 AND 2006...Nani has had 1 good season and even then, many people still think Quaresma was better this year even though he tailed off a bit in 2nd half of season

I love Figo, but it's his last year as a pro, he has confirmed he will retire...I think some folk would resent him if he did come back this time...last time there was genuine need, this time it's time for Quaresma and Nani to shine. I would be shocked if that happened....would be nice for him to come back for 1 friendly game though, just for him to give a proper farewell, but that's it.
As for Simao, he does things in flashes...a Luis Garcia type player who will not frighten a defense, but is capable of little moments of magic...however loses the ball all the time...Quaresma and Ronaldo are on a different planet to Simao in my opinion....many disagree and they tend to be from the red half of Lisbon

Miguel, I find it very strange that you rate Quaresma better than Ronaldo. Cristiano has proven himself in a top league for an entire season. Quaresma failed miserabely in his attempt in Barca. Sure he has done good in Porto over the last few years, but it doesn't really compare to Ronaldos last 1,5 years. Is it maybe because Ronaldo is a United player..........

If you read my first post you can see there's a lot of tongue in cheek when I say Ronaldo is tainted by the Mancness...I've referred to Cristiano as one of the top 5 players in the world right now and Portugal's success next summer will clearly rest on him more than any other portuguese player including Quaresma..
Quaresma is just one of my favourite players and when they were both at Sporting, Quaresma was the better player....there's hope he can still do that on a larger scale...
Sure he failed at Barca, but that's more down to his arrogance as a player at that age, rather than related to his ability...if you had seen both at 17 you would know why I rate Quaresma so highly...Cristiano has benefitted by playing under a manager who loves nurturing and protecting young talent and is excellent at it. whereas Barcelona under Rijkaard was massively the wrong move for Quaresma, partucularly with his personality...I don't think Rijkaard has really nurtured any young talent, Messi has just fallen on his lap, and not much maturing of his game has been required with the way Barca play
Don't take everything so literally

I think 1 year difference. Quaresma is 23 right now, Ronaldo 22 I believe...
He was 19 when he joined Barcelona....perhaps the move came too soon for him? That's also a possibility right?
