I'm sorry, you say something? I was too busy admiring the US' Gold Cup trophy and Confederations Cup invite.
Might not lose this one...

Meh....we'll see. Here's the latest from Steven Goff:
QUOTE
Matchday: USA-Colombia
I am hearing that Bob Bradley has, indeed, decided to field a lineup of players who have either not appeared yet in Copa or have seen limited playing time. That means Guzan, Boswell, Califf, Pearce, Nguyen, Beckerman, Gaven, Davies and Gomez, plus two others (Wynne? Clark?), in a match between sides that are heading home tomorrow. (I did not find out the formation or second-half substitution plans.) With nothing at stake, it makes sense, right?

Colombia kinda woke up in the second half in their game against Argentina, just as Argies started feeling tired and feeling the humidity. Still they were inferior to the albicelestes.
Can they upset this young US side? hard to tell

what do you predict?

Well that was quick.
On virtue of the game yesterday...Mexico and whoever, the US was "officially eliminated" Cesc.

It is the same. In our gold cup group only two advanced. Only the two best third place teams advance.

Why is it that when Johnson gets the ball he heads straight for the sideline?
so we don't have a chance because of all the goals we've conceded?

Moor got burned and Guzan's only shot was to leave the goal but went too far and now penal penal penal penalty.
Guzan makes a Keller mistake and then saves the PK. Well done.

I started watching about fifteen minutes in. How good was Columbia's first goal? I hope to god it wasn't another soft goal.

First half done with a 1-0 score. Both teams went attacking down the sidelines and the difference in the game is that nobody for the US can cross to save their life and a poor job of marking on the Colombian goal.
I thought Gomez made some nice runs but other than that it has been a pretty nondescript performance for everyone. Charlie Davies has to be a sub for Johnson who has done less than nothing.

Excellent header, but no coverage on the goalscorer. Defo not a soft goal though.

Who's the commentating team? First time I've listened to Gol and I like them alot.
I really hope Gaven can get back to his good form. Ever since he left New York, he hasn't been the same player. He started well with the Crew, but didn't hold it. He needs a change in clubs.
