Cincinnati Kings v. Crystal Palace FC USA
8th place (2-3-6) 6th Place (3-2-4)

7:30 PM - Town and Country Sports Complex

Heading out to the match tonight, not expecting much considering we've been playing like garbage and lost several key players without replacements. I'll say 1-1 optimistically, hope we manage at least a point.

Heck of a match, we came out flat and paid for it giving up two goals. Second half was different story as we pressed and got a penalty and then late late in the match off a corner scored the equalizer.

Kings 2-2 Crystal Palace

Least you pulled a point off.

Is Sheringham's kid playing for CP?
CK
There was a Charles Sheringham, I didn't make the connection.

How skilled are these guys CK? Besides running and passing, do you see any moves from wingers/strikers?

The Kings? Well, we play a fairly simple attack

1.) Knock ball up to target man
2.) Run ball down the wing and cross it in

Skill is at a premium as those kind of players tend to move on (as we have experience with) to USL D1 or even MLS. Honestly, if you're confident I could see you making the roster. Be prepared to play a physical style, plenty of hard tackles.

So it's nothing really special in D2, you just gotta be fit and strong? I'm confident in my abilities with the ball, but I'm not exactly strong, I'm physical, but not very strong. But I don't really workout, so maybe it won't be hard to gain that.

Few guys are, but after a season they often move on up as they get noticed. We had a guy named Jaman who was a technically gifted player and believe he moved on (cannot remember where).

It's a second club owned by the English side, sort of like a reserves side.

CP in England gives CP USA loans and vice versa. And CP owns CP USA.
