Chelsea have engineered an option to sign 20-year-old PSV defender Manuel da Costa before next May. (Daily Mirror)

Chelsea have lodged a £10m bid for Tottenham defender Pascal Chimbonda. (Daily Mail)
Byatt
I don't think Chimbonda is the right-man for us, we're in need of a right-back but £10m seems a bit steep to me, as for da Costa can't say i've heard that much about him
Avon
Everones got to wait for SPanish League to end, last time I heard it was June 17th, we can expect another warning from Sepp again
Chelseagirl
Saw that Chimbonda thing earlier, said something Jose being really keen on him or something. I didn't get the chance to read it, saw someone else reading paper on the train.

£10 mil - sounds like should be less. Though I think a lot of them at times get put as more with rumours

I think the problem is we need a right-back and Spurs need a left-back and Jol's always been linked with Bridgey so i think they'd probably want Bridge as some part of any deal, which if that were the case we should tell them where to go

Former Reading midfielder Steve Sidwell will win Michael Ballack's Chelsea starting slot and then become a Chelsea legend, according to former Royals team-mate James Harper. (Sunday Mirror)
Byatt
Villa one is nonsense i think, Jose's said countless times he doesn't want him...

Kaladze would be a good signing, he can cover a number of positions...

Maka doesn't want to go, we should give him his new contract...

Hopefully we'll get Alex, been watching him for PSV for a few years know and he's quality, definitely suited to the Premiership...

McCarthy would be a goal scorer and maybe he could partner Drogba...

and finally i hope Harper is right laugh.gif
Chelseagirl
With the Alex thing, I've seen different things about him coming in the summer. Would be interesting to see him play in a Chelsea set-up

If I were a Chelsea supporter the last thing I would do would be to concern myself with transfer rumours. The first team the lazy, bullshit newspapers like the News of the World are going to link people with is always going to be Chelsea.

Chimbonda is suspect at Spurs, nevermind Chelski

Another great Chelsea investment. Have you lot actually ever made money on a transfer since Abramovich joined?

the Maka story is dragging on a little bit now, he's already said he doesn't want to go anywhere so I don't think he will...

Pizarro would be a good signing, he's a good player....

McCarthy is just another rumour that keeps popping up, can't see it happening myself though

Real Madrid have made a last-gasp effort to sign Arjen Robben before he commits his future to Chelsea. (Daily Mirror)

Of all the 556 Premiership players asked to help with the scheme, only 225 contributed. (News of the World)

--------------------

Robben thing - getting old, next!!

If the second thing about not giving wages is true, they'll probably get some backlash about that, although that gossip does only refer to Chelsea, wonder what the other top Prem teams did too.

Not surprised at all the Lamps/Juve thing has popped up again now Ranieri has taken the reins there.

I have not seen Pato play, but again, it's not too surprising that we would be linked with him, especially in view of his age.

Getting beat to two players and possibly getting another, good day there dry.gif I don't remember hearing something about Elyounoussi before mind you.

Drogba story - good forward thinking I must say, no reason why there isn't a possibillity they could both happen either.

Also Rosina is a fantastic player, he will be a megastar, he should leave Torino if he has another great season. Not bad for a player they paid peanuts for, Toro could get £15m for him now.
If he wasn't at Toro I would say Juve should go for him but it would create a riot.

With that Korean thing, it would be stupid to be under pressure just due to sponsors, although I wouldn't put it past them to be honest.

I don't think we'd get much more than £4mil for Boulahrouz, so if Sevilla do want him, they may as well take him.
