I just wondered like as it was shown on terrestrial tv over here and it was a good game.
The stadium is pretty much like an English one, when you put an Italian derby into an English ground the noise is phenomenal, Sampdoria fans were fantastic, they had 10,000 away fans and even outsung the home end.
Cassano was at his petulant and brilliant best, the best player on the pitch ahead of Borriello by some way, Donadoni cannot ignore him for much longer, he needs to be in the next squad, Cassano can win Italy the Euros.
I felt sorry for Genoa as they were doing quite well and played with ten, but Maggio was the worst culprit, he finally scored but had so many chances it was unreal.
Good game.

Yeah, I saw the last 30 minutes, I usually watch the Sunday game on Five if I'm not playing football myself, it was quite an exciting game even though there was only 1 goal. Felt sorry for that Lucarelli bloke who it went in off, I reckon it should be given as an OG.

Yeah it was unucky, although it was probably the only way Maggio was going to get a goal

I watched all of it. It was an excellent game by both teams. The fans and atmosphere was a great thing to see.
There is no doubt that Cassano should be called up the the NT to replace Totti, but he is not mentielly 100% there. It is a big risk bringing him to Euro. And after watching Italy vs Portugal the question is do we really need him.

Donadoni's watching him. If his good form continues, he'll get called-up again and possibly be at the Euro.

He is still a nutcase though, I would still be wary that he could get sent off at any minute but when he is happy he is usually ok.

He's always been that way tho. Guess it's up to the coach to take the chance, like Trap did.
The public would prefer ADP to be called-up apparently.

It'll be tough to take both with Di Natale a shoe-in and it looks like he may even take Palladino as well because he will play in midfield.
