I haven't seen Mexico play in a while, can't tell and I don't know about this brasil team much
how come we always draw Mexico ?
is always a friendly between brazil and mexico, good treatment of the ball and tactics
when we step on the pedal, we are able to compete but when your boys step on the gas
we get cold swets, sometimes we do it first and manage to score, if we are lucky more than once
then your boys start running and sometimes we manage to hold on to the win...
Brazil B team always plays better agaist us than the starters, they all need to prove
something and run from the begining, just like last copa.
unless we play at azteca of course ...

Dunga wary of Mexico threat
June 25, 2007
ANZOATEGUI, Venezuela (Ticker) - Brazil coach Dunga believes Mexico will hold a crucial advantage over his side when they meet in the Copa America.
Mexico, which is the Selecao's first opponents in Group B, also has been competing in the Gold Cup - losing Sunday's final 2-1 to the United States - and Dunga claims this will mean el Tricolor is more prepared heading into the tournament.
"Mexico are competing now - that is an advantage," he said. "Some teams work for an entire year and don't achieve anything. We have been practicing for the last 10 days only."
Mexico coach Hugo Sanchez has been unable to name his first-choice 22-man squad however, after three players - PSV Eindhoven's Carlos Salcido and Stuttgart duo Ricardo Osorio and Pavel Pardo - asked not to be included in the final list.
"We asked him (Sanchez) not to name us as we needed some time to rest - we didn't have a vacation after the World Cup," Pardo said.
"I don't want any doubts - I want to play the Champions League with Stuttgart," Osorio said. "I haven't had a vacation for five years and that has led to ankle injuries more than once."
Salcido, meanwhile, would prefer to spend time with his family than participate in the tournament.
"I asked him (Sanchez) to understand that even though I have had time to rest, I feel exhausted," Salcido said. "I'm not enjoying it and it takes a lot of work for me to be 100 percent. It's better to step aside and leave the place for someone else."
Also in Group B, Chile is beginning to shape its team ahead of the opener against Ecuador with coach Nelson Acosta fielding a forward line of Matias Fernandez, Mark Gonzalez, Humberto Suazo and Reinaldo Navia in training.
"We have to play the three games to the death and I trust the team to have a good tournament," Acosta explained.
"Against Ecuador we are going to see how the team works, but Brazil is a very different prospect and maybe we will have to make some changes to the lineup."
Ecuador is yet to arrive in Venezuela ahead of the tournament, which kicks off on Tuesday.
However, its final preparations did not go to plan with the squad suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Colombia on Saturday.

still ya never know in football
Ronaldinho and Kaka's absence shouldn't paralyze the team
imo this aint the best Mexico we've seen...they were much better under the last coach, i.e. Lavolpe

Ze Roberto retiring was a serious blow as he's been the best player in Brasil this year and could've used his experience to help out the younger players. It's going to be hard to score against a determined Mejico with Wagner Love up front.

Copa-Mexico arrive in crisis, reports of splits
By Brian Homewood
PUERTO LA CRUZ, Venezuela, June 26 (Reuters) - Mexico have arrived at the Copa America in crisis following yet another defeat to the United States and amid reports of splits in the dressing-room.
Mexico kick off their Copa America campaign against Brazil in Puerto Ordaz on Wednesday and the clash with the defending champions could not come at a worse possible moment for coach Hugo Sanchez.
The former Real Madrid striker spent the previous three years sniping at his predecessor Ricardo La Volpe and promising to turn Mexico into world beaters.
But those claims sounded very hollow in this month's Gold Cup as Mexico needed extra-time to beat eight-man Costa Rica in the quarter-finals, then struggled to a 1-0 win over Caribbean islanders Guadeloupe in the semis.
To cap it all, they then lost yet again to the United States in Sunday's final in Chicago, leaving the U.S. unbeaten in their last nine home games against the Mexicans.
Two Mexican newspapers took it as a personal failure for Sanchez, who repeatedly promised beforehand that Mexico's team would reflect his own winning personality.
"Hugo fails at the Gold Cup" and "Hugo, you're not approved," said La Jornada and Record respectively.
Mexico were greeted by a torrential downpour as they arrived in Venezuela on Tuesday, missing European-based Carlos Salcido, Ricardo Osorio and Pavel Pardo.
The trio all pulled out of the competition last week, claiming they were tired after a long season.
DIVIDED CAMP
But the Mexican media interpreted their withdrawl as a sign that the camp was split into "La Volpists" -- admirers of the former coach -- and "Hugoists".
Salcido, Osorio and Pardo were all key players under La Volpe and are all widely regarded as being admirers of the Argentine, who is now coaching Velez Sarsfield in his homeland.
In fact, the shadow of La Volpe is looming ever larger over Sanchez.
La Volpe has tended to keep a low profile in the last few months, avoiding the temptation to renew hostilities with his personal rival, but on Sunday was busy giving radio and television interviews.
"He always said he understood the Mexican football environment," La Volpe said. "Now he has to turn a blind eye, to be intelligent and work positively with his team."
La Volpe is also reported to have phoned some of his former disciples last week to give them advice.
Earlier this year, Sanchez set his team two objectives: to win the Gold Cup and reach the semi-finals of the Copa America.
A second failure could mean that this dream of coaching his country ends up being a very short one.
