For us to succeed next season we need to do better in this department, more than 90% seem to be muscular problems. We have hired Samp's fitness coach who is supposed to be a guru on muscular treatment, so fingers crossed.
The season hasn't started too well though, Buffon thinks he will be out until January 2011 with his sciatic nerve problem after surgery....

JuveJay
Sep 17 2010, 01:08 PM
I'd take 5 players all season tbh, it's been a lot worse at times

Only Arsenal have been worse maybe in the last year.

Only cos Newcastle have been relegated for a year, they are the ultimate benchmark

De Ceglie and Martinez out... wow. Pepe at left back again then?

Bad timing for both personally as well, as Martinez has impressed the last couple games and De Ceglie is finally winning a starting role.

Juve injury crisis deepens
No fewer than 14 players are injured for Juventus' Europa League clash with Salzburg tomorrow night, leaving Gigi Del Neri with little room to maneuvre.
Discounting the players from the Primavera and the fourth choice goalkeeper, Del Neri only has 11 players to choose from in his 25-man squad.
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands it could be worse as well because Felipe Melo and Momo Sissoko trained apart from the rest of the squad yesterday.
Both players were complaining of severe muscle fatigue and it remains to be seen whether Del Neri risks the midfield duo on Thursday evening.
It's now practically certain that Fabio Grosso and Hasan Salihamidzic will be reintegrated into the squad for Sunday's match against Cesena in Serie A.
Del Neri tried Grosso at left-back in training yesterday and also experimented with Salihamidzic on the opposite side, although Simone Pepe is still being given lessons at full-back.

Del Neri has defensive headacheJuventus’ injury crisis is so bad that 18-year-old Frederik Hillesborg Sorensen may have to start in defence on Sunday.
The young Dane, signed from Second Division Lyngby over the summer, is in contention to play after Nicola Legrottaglie picked up an injury on Thursday.
The latter’s loss is the latest blow to a defence which has been decimated by injuries in recent weeks.
Giorgio Chiellini suffered a physical problem in the warm-up at Milan last Saturday, while fellow centre-back Leandro Rinaudo is also sidelined.
Add in the fact that full-backs Zdenek Grygera, Paolo De Ceglie and Armand Traore are unavailable too and Del Neri has a defence to invent.
The only certainties right now are that Marco Motta will start on the right, with Leonardo Bonucci in the centre.
At left-back, Fabio Grosso could be re-integrated although there is the option of fielding Simone Pepe there instead.
If Sorensen doesn’t convince Del Neri of his ability ahead of the Cesena tie, then there is the possibility of fielding central midfielder Felipe Melo at the back.

Injuries 2 and 3 come in:
Marchisio - 3 weeks
Pepe - 1-2 weeks
That's not bad for late January. We will miss these two, but I believe we have enough to replace them. We have been lucky so far with injuries (touch wood). I wonder if our high intensity training and game performances are a reason why we have suffered less muscular injuries than the last 3-4 seasons?
