Immobile joined Juventus in June 2007 from Serie C2 side Sorrento for €100,000. After starting with the Allievi Nazionali, Immobile joined the Primavera under-20 squad where he formed a striking partnership with Ayub Daud that led Juventus to win the 2009 Torneo di Viareggio, where he scored a total five goals, two of which in the final.

On March 14, 2009 Immobile made his Serie A debut in a 4–1 home win against Bologna, replacing Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero in the 89th minute, in a game where his youth system teammate Daud also made his Serie A debut replacing Sebastian Giovinco a minute earlier.

On July 1st 2010 Immobile joined Siena in a loan swap deal with bianconero team mate Luca Marrone. After an injury prone and unsuccessful spell with Siena he joined Grosseto on loan in Lega Pro Prima Divisione, scoring one goal.

On July 15th 2011 Immobile signed on loan for Serie B club Pescara.

Immobile scored 9 goals in 7 games in the prestigious Viareggio youth championship, as Juventus won back to back tournaments.

There are high expectations for this lad, he has a bit of swagger, obviously can finish and is also pretty strong and fast. Hopefully he can make the step up.

I was reading in La Stampa that we paid €100,000 for Ciruzzo two years ago from little Sorrento, now he is being linked to all sorts of teams like Arsenal in some (crappy) sites.

The board would do well to keep him in the first team picture because he is certainly strong enough and very good at lots of things.

Hopefully he tears Serie B up grin.gif

First league goal for Siena in week 16, very nice finish too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvHAcb6Xt7A#t=3m31s

Not to be a dick but if you have to talk about his goalscoring, he must not be a very good defender, but then again I guess his name tells it all sad.gif

He's a striker.

Couldn't get a regular game at top of the table Siena (scored 1 in 4 games, also got injured) so went to Grosseto, another Serie B side, on loan.

1 game 1 goal for him:

Nice header, he looks really skinny now though huh.gif

He's tearing it up in Serie B, he is Capocannoniere (top scorer) so far this season playing in Zeman's ultra-attacking system, with 8 goals in 11 games.
fantasista
Nice! grin.gif Hope this earns him a place with Juve next season, that's a great scoring record for a 21 year-old.

GOAL MACHINE!!!!!!

Lots of Serie A teams want him for next season. Even though Zeman *spit* is in charge I hope he goes up with Pescara.

It seems that Cagliari and Genoa both strongly want him for the second half of the season, but Juve seem keener to keep him at Pescara.

Genoa sign Immobile and Carvalho

Genoa have announced they’ve paid €4m for half of Under-21 international Ciro Immobile and signed Brazilian Roger Carvalho.

“Today at 14.00 we bought out half of Immobile’s contract from Juventus for €4m,” said President Enrico Preziosi.

Immobile is an Under-21 international striker and currently the Serie B Capocannoniere with 16 goals for Pescara.

He turns 22 next month and has also played on loan at Siena and Grosseto since graduating from the Juventus youth academy in 2010.

“We have decided to discuss Boakye with the Bianconeri in June. Meanwhile, we’ve already signed Brazilian defender Roger Carvalho, who is undergoing his medical right now.”

Carvalho is a 25-year-old centre-back owned by Figueirense who had also been tracked by Tottenham and Shakhtar Donetsk.

-----------------------

So he's valued at €8m already!? That's a very good deal for a kid with just 6 months in Serie B, but I hope to see him back in a couple of seasons. He'll stay at Pescara for the rest of this season.
