Well it's belated but I have been, and still am, away. I've only really been able to check results and let's just say plenty of room to improve 2 wins, 2 losses, 4 draws. Don't know how well they have been performing.
I don't get back to Oregon until July- but I am trying to convince my wife that a half season ticket is in order for my birthday meaning that I'd get to go to most of the last 8 games + the playoffs if we make it.

A very good response from the TA I thought. It always bugs me when people complain- PGE is a big stadium and there are plenty of seats. The TA take up sections 106-108, there are many other sections and areas go and sit there. Why should 3,000 people change to accommodate people, rather than the 2 people changing?
A last minute goal by midfielder Keith Savage lifted the Portland Timbers to a 1-0 win over the Montreal Impact in front of 6,427 at PGE Park Thursday. Savage’s goal in the 90th minute extended the Timbers’ unbeaten streak to eight matches.

Few Portland supporters stated after the goal was the best atmosphere ever at PGE, Yax, how was it?

Not back in Oregon yet mate

Anyway 5-1 win on Thursday against the Thunder. Unbeaten since the opening day, 1 point from top with a game in hand- it's looking good this year! Can't wait to get back to some games.

I didn't want to say anything.

If Vancouver has better ones, then I might change my opinion about them.

That's 5-1 and 4-0 in our last two games. We're looking very good in with a real chance of topping the league and certainly a chance in the playoffs!
Hopefully we can bury Seattle on Wednesday! I am going to have to find somewhere to watch that one!

I was really amazed (as was last time when I went down on the bus trip in May) tonight by the hospitality of the Timbers fans, especially the TA. I almost feel ashamed that we are nothing like you lot when away fans come visit us. You deserved the Cup.

Anyway Cascadia Champions! Woot! Another win...unbeaten at home and unbeaten in 18 games.
It was good to FINALLY make it back. Awesome atmosphere- I loved it.

Should end season on high note with Cleveland at home twice. Shaping up...

Are unbeaten run of 24 games came to an end yesterday with a home loss against Rochester 2-1. Quite a surprise considering we beat them 4-1 away 2 weeks ago!
Still 2 points clear with 2 games in hand at the top and 4 games left. We'd have to really throw it away from here.
Should get 9 points from last 4 and secure top spot. Well done Timbers.

Fantastic atmosphere in the Southside last night. The Timbers Army went quiet after the 2nd goal and they also decided to throw a beer at Wes Knight. And here I was going all along singing their praises. A buncha wankers.
Absolute shite call by the ref. Timbers are a small time club, let's hope the Caps do them good on Sunday.

I'll ignore your comments. As for the fans- there's always the odd tosser had too much to drink, I wouldn't judge them too hardly!
