Italian FA tactical coach Franco Ferrari believes Juventus will play just like Barcelona next season, giving Bianconeri fans a chance to dream.

Ferrari teaches tactics to coaches studying for their professional coaching badges at Coverciano. The former Genoa player also teaches UEFA courses and he is a recognised FIFA instructor. Juve coach Ciro Ferrara was one of Ferrari's former students and the Juve boss' mentor insists that fantasy football will be the order of the day for the Old Lady next term.

"There will be plenty of possession. Short passes, making the ball work and waiting for an opening to hurt the opponent. Juve's style will be like the Spanish national side, Barcelona, or how Milan played under [Carlo] Ancelotti," Ferrari told Tuttosport.

It will certainly be a more attractive style with more emphasis on possession and passing, Ciro Ferrara confirmed this when he was given the job permanently. It's a bit of fantasy to compare to other teams but the system will be similar to how those teams play, the board chose to go with this style but however we play we have to win. Juve did play a similar style under Lippi's first stint as coach.

Did I miss something? Trezeguet, that Brazilian turned Italian forward, Iaquinta, etc. are all not known for their pace? dunno.gif

How can you play attractive counter-attacking football if you don't have pace? There's that skinny kid, he has pace, that's about it. Maybe Diego.

Who said anything about counter-attacking? Iaquinta has pace btw.
