Luca Marrone is a determined central midfield player who has been promoted from the successful Juventus Primavera to the full side for pre-season 2009-10. Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara knows the player well having previously overseen the clubs youth sector, and the player has repaid the faith shown in him with some excellent all-round displays alongside more established players, showing a range of tackling, covering and passing which has led to rave reviews.

On July 1st 2010 he joined Siena in a loan swap deal, along with team mate Ciro Immobile.

Made a thread for this lad as I think he is going to be big, in fact quite a few people do. Ferrara obviously likes him as he has used him a lot in an area with many players. This is Cristiano Zanetti's replacement in the squad in my opinion. The lad really has a great all round game, he is strong and mobile and executes a sliding tackle very well, but he has also shown he can make a killer pass.

Likened to Claudio Marchisio, another Turin-native Juventus-supporting all-action midfielder. I think this lad can make it like Marchisio, he deserves to play some part this season.

Probably going to Livorno in Serie B for a season, they are chasing him like mad but Delneri wants a look at him first in ritiro.

Joined Siena on loan as part of a loan swap deal, Ciro Immobile joins him. Juve get two Primavera players in exchange, Marcel Buchel and Niccolò Giannetti.

Hopefully he actually gets some playing time. I was impressed with him, played well in a rubbish team against NYRB a few months back

He has still been playing with us pre season, but joins them at the end of July.

He's growing game after game, creating a lot of rave reviews. I've always liked him and seen him as a good all round player, but you can't be sure how a young player will settle playing in the first team. He plays like he is a veteran and exudes confidence.
