Michele Paolucci recently returned to Juventus FC from his loan spell at Calcio Catania, but soon after that he join AC Siena on co-ownership deal.

Club career

He started his career at Juventus. In 2006-07 season he was loaned to Ascoli, made his team and Serie A debut on 10 September, 2006, against Atalanta B.C.. In summer 2007, he moved to Udinese Calcio on joint-ownership deal, as part of the Vincenzo Iaquinta deal to join Juventus F.C., as tagged for €1.355million. He made his official game debut in Coppa Italia, scored two goals against A.S. Bari on 29 August, 2007.

In January 2008 Juventus and Udinese loaned him out to Atalanta B.C., where he would play until July 2008.

During the 2008/2009 summer transfer window, Juventus and Udinese again loaned Paolucci out, this time to Sicilian side, Catania. He was a revalation this term for a high-flying Catania side who was fighting for UEFA Cup places until a mid-season stumble. He scored 7 goals that season, and had been regularly included in first team action, under coach Walter Zenga.

Siena

In June 2009, Paolucci was bought back by Juventus for €3.3million. On 8 July 2009 he joined Siena in co-ownership for the same price.

He will be having a medical tomorrow, Juve are bringing him back from Siena where he has been co-owned, following the return of Yago a couple of days ago.

We will really need him for the Chievo match. He is a youth product who has spent 2-3 years getting first team football at various Serie A teams, but he has done pretty well for himself. He is definitely the best of the Primavera strikers we have produced in recent years, he deserves a chance.

Juve recall Yago and Paolucci

Juventus have officially recalled ex-Barcelona starlet Yago from Bari and Michele Paolucci from Siena.

The club is in the depths of an injury crisis with David Trezeguet, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Mauro Camoranesi, Christian Poulsen and Martin Caceres out due to long-term injuries.

Juve have taken action ahead of Sunday’s Serie A match with Chievo by recalling some of their young players currently on loan.

Yago Falqué Silva joined from Barcelona last year and won the Primavera youth title with Juventus last season.

He was loaned out to Bari and has barely made an appearance, but the Bianconeri have now officially recalled the creative midfielder.

This is not the end of it, as it is now confirmed that overnight a deal was struck with Siena to bring back Paolucci.

The striker was on loan until the end of the season, but for 300,000 Euros Juventus have him in their squad six months early.

Newspapers all around Italy suggest the situation is so desperate that Paolucci and Yago could be on the field for Sunday’s game with Chievo.

€300,000 to call him back, things really have gone bad in terms of injuries in attack. We are having to loan back a player we already half own lol.

QUOTE
"One thing is for sure, I will not stay with Siena. It's not because I don't want to play in Tuscany or Serie B, but because the club has made other choices and I am not part of their project," he told Goal.com.

"I agree with both Juventus and Siena selling their stakes in me, we just have to see what shirt I will be wearing next season. There's no rush though, we are taking things calmly."

Almeria have also been excluded as Paolucci prefers to stay in Italy.

"I received an important offer from Spain, from Almeria to be exact. I am intrigued by La Liga, but there is still time to go there, I am young and I want to prove my value in Italy," he added.

"I feel I have plenty to offer Italian football. I don't want to name clubs, but four or five teams in Serie A are interested and my agent is dealing with that.

"In any case we will know my future soon."

Won't be with us next season I'm sure.
