3 AC Milan 67
Fixtures for Internazionale :
Internazionale v Chievo Verona
Siena v Internazionale
Fixtures for Milan:

Chievo V. v AS Roma
imo we have the easiest fixture and we have Milan and Inter at home but the key factor here can be the injuries.

honestly, if we get Totti, Toni and Pizarro back, we have a pretty good shout for the scudetto.
on the other hand, we play Milan next week and its going to be pretty difficult to beat them without the 3 players mentioned above.

Definitely the easiest fixtures of the three left, but I don't see Inter losing more than 3 matches, unless they suffer injuries. Hopefully Roma will not suffer injuries, but at this stage in the season, they need to get full points on every easy fixture, and not be flakey.

Roma De Rossi admits title-race defeat
Roma vice-captain Daniele De Rossi implied his side have no chance of challenging Serie A leaders Inter Milan, following Saturday's draw with AC Milan.
The Giallorossi, who were held to a 0-0 draw in Rome, are now six points adrift of Inter who still have a game in hand.
"We must not lead our fans on. We have done exceptionally well, but we had to win them all in order to catch Inter and that was impossible," De Rossi told Roma channel.
"We are six points behind them, but they are not within our reach for this season. We are just rediscovering our consistency and a concept of team we had misplaced."
Inter host Genoa on Sunday as they look to extend the gap with city rivals Milan at the summit.
http://filgoal.com/english/News.aspx?NewsID=65600We can't win the scudetto with the defensive mind that Ranieri is employing in the team.

I wouldn't, they are still to inconsistent, and have noticeable weak points. Inter play like shit but at least you know they are solid. The only way Inter will lose the scudetto is if they draw too many, we would also need a couple of losses in there. There are only three games in there they could realistically lose, in certain circumstances. Roma, Palermo and Fiorentina away.

sure but there are some odd games that Inter will stumble in, just like this one, i expected Genoa to get destroyed with their pitiful defense but they didn't. Imo, Inter feels the pressure from teams like Milan and maybe Roma. They are starting to screw up some games that they would have easily won in the past (last few weeks). The positive thing i see about Milan and Roma is that they have nothing to lose and no one realistically expects them to win the Scudetto but inter on the other hand have everything to lose and its starting to mess things up for them.

Yes that's what I mean though, they could draw those games or maybe a shock loss. WL is better than DD in terms of points, so if Inter draw lots of games that is the best chance for someone else to nick in there.

And they've drawn 3 of their last 4. Milan can catch up, but need to be several points ahead really going into that last run of games.

Milan can be at the top for the first time this season if Inter struggle at Palermo. It will be very tough for Inter to win that game. Milan has a less tougher game against Napoli. The latter is in a dip of form so its all beautifully written for Milan.
We, on the other hand, God help us.

You know, I wouldnt be surprised if Inter beging to drop points- they desperatley want the champions league, and it wouldnt surprise me if they focused more of their attention on that. It is just a shame that we have been inconsistant yet again. I'd love to see us pip both Inter and AC to the title, but I cant see that happening, we are already falling behind. 3rd, or dare I say 2nd would be a really good finish for us, considering we had such a crappy start to the season. We bounced back well and everyone is hitting form...BRING IT ON. We may not win it, but we're in with a shot so we're going to try our hardest.

Yeah we've already had this discussion. I include Milan and Roma in that 'if there was a strong team' category. They are not strong teams.
Juve are really poor this year. Inter are average-good, Milan and Roma are below average. Ask people who have followed the league throughout and compare it to the level of the league pre-2006 and you will see what I mean. I'm talking about comparison to strong teams, not Palermo and Napoli.
As much as I'd like to see Roma or Milan win the scudetto this season, if they did, it would not only be refreshing but also embarrassing for the league. These two teams shouldn't be getting anywhere near the title! They wouldn't run close in England or Spain, and wouldn't have been near Milan, Juve or Roma from 1995-2006. Not even close. Inter, as disgusting as they are, should have had this title in the bag already, again.

Inter after week 29 the last four years:
2009/10----29- 17-9-3 (54:26) 60 pts
2008/09----29- 21-6-2 (54:21) 69 pts
2007/08----29- 20-8-1 (55:18) 68 pts
2006-07----29- 24-4-1 (62:26) 76 pts
Of course, 06-07 was a joke anyway, but shows the slip.

'Roma match is a title decider'
Monday 22 March, 2010
Inter's chief playmaker Wesley Sneijder believes Sunday's clash with Roma will be decisive in the title race.
The Nerazzurri travel to the Olimpico with a one-point lead at the top of Serie A and a four-point cushion over third-placed Roma.
“Roma are a direct opponent in the race for the tricolor,” Sneijder explained.
“It will perhaps be decisive for the Scudetto. In Italy, the title race is very close and it will be so until the very end.”
Unfortunately, Sneijder looks set to miss Wednesday's match against Livorno.
The Holland international is in the treatment room after developing a muscle problem in his right leg.
However, he is expected to be fit in time for Sunday's trip to the capital.
http://football-italia.net/mar22l.htmlactually it will be on saturday and not sunday. it would be great if Sneijder doesn't play against us but we don't want any excuses, if we want to win the scudetto, we got to beat them.

I hope they win it, but for differing reasons than that of a cynical Milan fan who knows all too well that a scudetto win would just mask huge flaws. It would be better for Milan and ultimately calcio, if Milan did not win it this year. The other reason being that I am extremely suspicious of them, I just don't like the political ties and personnel at the club. There are guys there that should not have been working in football after 2006.
