i thought Manninger was a very good keeper.

He's a very good shot stopper, I don't like him too much for reading the game though. He's no Buffon, that's for sure.

Looking at the replay it wasn't so much his fault anyway, more the left side of defence. He had to either come and block it or wait for a shot one on one with him.

Massively surprised at the result. I missed the last 15 minutes as I had to go out , probably for the better as it was a bit hands on deck. I thought our goals were excellent, more than could be said about the performance, but it was an important game to win and to win in that style says more about the mentality, at least we bounced back. It looks like we will have to play sides also struggling for form if we want to win as well...

We all know Grosso has a wand of a left foot but his form has been shocking so it was nice for him to get a goal. It was also a very aware sub from Zac, as De Ceglie was suffering big time first half, he had a poor game. I'm not sure what has happened to Frey but his positioning and goal awareness has been total shit for most of this season, he needs to get his head straight. Actually I thought Fiorentina in general were a bit shit as well, Marchionni also blew a couple of great opportunities.

No it wasn't, the replay showed the defenders feet were playing him on and his chest was leaning past him, it's the feet that count. I thought the same to begin with, but having looked at it even Prandelli admitted it was technically onside. In play though I don't know how the linesman called it, he would have had to be a robot.
