Lesser countries The CL has become so boring with teams from only 3 countries having a realistic chance of winning it, they might as well have the final in these 3 countries. In fact Im suprised they haven't sold it to cities outside of Europe, that's where most of the money is coming from anyway.

They got it because of the 150th anniversary of the FA, combined with the ease of having it at Wembley, which requires no additional space and no additional technical equipment.

I'd say UEFA do a decent job of moving it around. People often criticise organisations such as UEFA as not caring about fans but if it was to be played in Bosnia or Croatia then people would be in danger in a higher risk country and they are much further away from teams likely to be in the final.

There are also very few smaller nations/cities with a stadium big enough to host such a massive game. IMO it should be reserved for 75k+ stadiums only.

Yes, I do get the complaints. The CL involves many European countries and it would be cool the see a final in Norway, for example, but if you don't have a stadium big enough you can't. Simple as that.

Moving the final to a Saturday was not only good for TV audiences worldwide, but opens the possibility of moving the final outside Europe at some point.

Probably when the TV stagnates a little and they need a new gimmick.

Plus it's staying here because UEFA have probably never seen so much money from one match in the history of the competition. I'm sure they'd have it here every year if they could get away with it.
